Summer School Tour

After running the 1st International Summer School on Network and Service Management (ISSNSM 2007) at Jacobs University, I went to the University of Twente to attend the EUNICE 2007 summer school. I liked both events and I think they did nicely complement each other. I can only recommend that PhD students attend such events; they are a nice place to establish contacts, to share insights and learn, and to share experiences (the good and the bad) with fellow PhD students. Given the positive feedback about these events, I assume that both continue next year; so watch out for the call for papers and participation.
